BMW has launched the 2025 2 Series Gran Coupe in India starting at ₹46.90 lakh, featuring updated styling, tech upgrades, and a petrol-only engine. Here’s everything you need to know.
BMW has launched a new M Sport Pro version of the 2 Series Gran Coupe in India, priced at Rs. 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This new edition sits above the standard 220i M Sport, offering a few cosmetic upgrades and additional features aimed at enhancing its sporty appeal. The price difference of ₹ 3 lakh over the regular variant reflects these enhancements.
Visually, the M Sport Pro version gets a blacked-out grille, updated LED headlamps with L-shaped DRLs, a reworked rear bumper, and a dual-tone paint finish. The design continues to reflect the brand’s signature coupe styling with a sleek roofline and frameless doors, while new 18-inch alloy wheels further accentuate its sporty character. The addition of adaptive LED headlights and smoked tail-lamps also distinguishes it from the regular M Sport variant.
Inside the cabin, BMW has equipped this edition with features like dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and digital driver display, powered front seats, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting. Notably, it also comes with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, adding a premium audio experience to the package.
Under the hood, the BMW 220i M Sport Pro is powered by the same 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 156 bhp and 230 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. Performance figures remain unchanged from the regular 220i M Sport.

The new M Sport Pro variant doesn’t introduce mechanical changes but is targeted at buyers seeking a more distinct look and added features. It rivals other entry-level luxury sedans like the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine and Audi A4, although BMW’s offering stands out for its sportier proportions and coupe-like design. This version adds a layer of exclusivity for those willing to spend a little extra for a more refined and visually striking package.
