Volvo is launching the facelifted XC60 in India on August 1, 2025. The updated SUV brings a new grille, fresh interior tech like an 11.2-inch touchscreen, and minor cosmetic tweaks while retaining its 2.0L mild-hybrid engine and AWD setup.

Volvo is all set to bring the updated XC60 to India, with the official launch scheduled for August 1, 2025. The mid-size luxury SUV, which was globally unveiled earlier this year, gets a handful of design changes and key technology updates while retaining its familiar powertrain.

From the outside, the 2025 XC60 facelift doesn’t stray far from Volvo’s current design language but adds a touch of freshness. The most noticeable updates include a revised front grille featuring the latest Volvo iron mark, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and subtly reworked tail lamps with a darker tint for a more premium look. A new range of alloy wheels is also expected, along with fresh paint options like Aurora Silver, Forest Lake, and Mulberry Red.

Inside the cabin, the most significant update is the new 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, it promises faster graphics processing and better overall responsiveness. Alongside this, Volvo has introduced new interior trim inserts and an updated audio system. Globally, the facelifted XC60 also comes with optional air suspension, and while it’s yet to be confirmed, many of these enhancements are likely to make their way to the Indian variant.

The outgoing India-spec XC60 is already equipped with several premium features such as a panoramic glass roof, Bowers & Wilkins sound system, four-zone climate control, ventilated and massaging front seats, 360-degree camera, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, and a full suite of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). The facelift is expected to carry forward this equipment list, with a few additions aimed at improving the in-cabin tech experience.

Mechanically, the XC60 facelift is expected to continue with the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid engine seen on the current model. The unit delivers 247 bhp and 360 Nm of peak torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and standard all-wheel drive. There are no changes anticipated in performance, which means buyers can expect the same balanced driving experience Volvo is known for.

The launch via the CBU route will give Indian buyers another refined, tech-loaded option in the luxury SUV segment when it arrives on August 1.
