Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F36 5G in India, delivering a feature-packed mid-range smartphone that combines a sleek design with long-term software support.
The Galaxy F36 5G comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and an immersive viewing experience. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added durability, and Samsung has also extended the same protection to the back panel, which gets a premium vegan leather finish.
Powering the device is Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 15 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI 7 interface. One of the standout promises from Samsung is its commitment to longevity—the Galaxy F36 5G is guaranteed to receive 6 generations of Android OS updates and 6 years of security updates, making it a strong option for users looking for long-term value.
For photography, the device sports a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera housed in the U-shaped notch. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, which is a rare feature at this price point.
In terms of design, the Galaxy F36 5G is slim at just 7.7mm and weighs 197 grams. It packs a 5000mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging. However, like many of Samsung’s recent releases, there’s no charger included in the box. Other key features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C audio, and a bottom-firing speaker.
Connectivity options are comprehensive, with support for 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS with GLONASS, and a hybrid dual SIM slot that allows storage expansion up to 2TB via microSD.

Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is available in three colour options—Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black. The base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹17,499, while the 8GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹18,999. The device is now official and will go on sale starting July 29 via Flipkart and Samsung’s online store.
Buyers can take advantage of launch offers, including a ₹1,000 instant discount on all bank cards and an additional ₹500 coupon discount. With these offers, the effective starting price drops to ₹15,999.
