vivo is set to launch the V60 in India this August with ZEISS optics, 100x zoom, a 6500mAh battery, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, and a 6.67″ 120Hz AMOLED display. Here’s what to expect.

vivo has officially started teasing its next premium mid-range smartphone for the Indian market — the vivo V60. Expected to launch in August, the V60 will be the successor to the vivo V50 and is shaping up to bring a host of hardware upgrades, especially in terms of camera performance and battery technology.
One of the main highlights teased so far is the ZEISS-branded optics system, along with support for up to 100x zoom. The V60 also claims to be the slimmest smartphone yet to pack a 6500mAh battery — an impressive feat for users who need lasting power without added bulk.
The teaser also reveals a triple rear camera setup, which is expected to include a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3x telephoto camera. On the front, vivo could retain a 50MP selfie camera, similar to what we saw on the vivo S30 model launched earlier in China.

Another standout feature will be the phone’s quad-curved AMOLED display — an equal-depth curvature design that adds to its premium appeal. The screen size is expected to be 6.67 inches with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and immersive visual experience.
Under the hood, the V60 is likely to make the jump to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, a step up from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip used in previous models. This should offer improved performance and efficiency, especially for multitasking and gaming.

In terms of durability, vivo is expected to retain the IP68 and IP69 ratings from the V50, ensuring the phone is protected against dust and water — something that adds practical value for daily use.
The V60 will launch in three colour options: Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Gray. Once officially released, it will be available for purchase via Flipkart, vivo India’s official online store, and through offline retail channels across the country.
More information, including pricing and exact specifications, is likely to be revealed in the coming days as we get closer to the official launch.
