MG Cyberster, the all-electric sports convertible, is set to launch in India via MG Select showrooms. Featuring a 77kWh battery, up to 510bhp, and a 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 3.2 seconds, the Cyberster offers a range of up to 580 km. Pre-bookings are now open.

JSW MG Motor India has begun accepting pre-orders for the upcoming MG Cyberster, an all-electric sports convertible. Customers can reserve the model through the newly launched MG Select website or by visiting authorized MG dealerships.
The Cyberster made its first appearance in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. Presented at the JSW MG Motor India pavilion, it is positioned as the country’s fastest two-door electric roadster and will be retailed through the premium MG Select outlet network. It will be introduced alongside the MG M9 electric MPV.
The Cyberster will enter the Indian market as a completely built unit (CBU), which is likely to influence both its pricing and availability. Initially, the model will be offered in limited numbers. MG plans to establish 12 dedicated MG Select showrooms in major cities to support the launch of its premium EV range.
Pricing and Variants
While MG has not officially disclosed the pricing, estimates suggest that the Cyberster will be priced between ₹60 lakh and ₹70 lakh (ex-showroom). The launch is expected to take place soon, although an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
The model will be available in two variants, both powered by a 77 kWh battery pack:
- The single-motor variant produces 335 bhp and 475 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of 507 km.
- The dual-motor variant offers 510 bhp and 725 Nm of torque, delivering a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of 3.2 seconds and a claimed range of 443 km.
Exterior and Design

The MG Cyberster will be available in four exterior paint options: Cosmic Silver, Inca Yellow, English White, and Dynamic Red. The design draws inspiration from classic MG roadsters of the 1960s while incorporating contemporary styling cues.
Notable exterior features include scissor doors, LED projector headlights with integrated daytime running lights (DRLs), a blacked-out front grille, and arrow-shaped LED tail lights connected by an inverted U-shaped light bar. The vehicle also features 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and a black rear diffuser.
Interior and Features

Inside, the Cyberster is equipped with a digital triple-screen layout comprising a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and an additional display for HVAC controls. The cabin includes sports seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel with integrated controls, and a rotary dial for activating launch control.

Other key features include an electrically foldable soft-top roof, six-way electrically adjustable heated seats with memory function, paddle shifters for regenerative braking, and an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system.
Safety and Technology
The MG Cyberster includes a comprehensive safety package with multiple airbags, electronic stability control (ESP), electronic parking brake, auto-hold, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and an immobiliser.
It also comes equipped with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, and speed assistance features.
