CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, has officially launched the CMF Phone 2 Pro, featuring significant improvements over its predecessor. With a focus on performance, photography, and modular design, the Phone 2 Pro is positioned to compete strongly in the mid-range smartphone market.
Specifications and Features
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, built on a 4nm TSMC process. It offers an octa-core CPU running up to 2.5 GHz, ensuring smooth multitasking and gaming performance. The phone is available in two storage options — 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB, with support for microSD expansion up to 2TB.
A major highlight is the quad-camera system. The primary sensor is a 50MP main camera with a large 1/1.57-inch sensor, delivering improved low-light performance with the support of EIS and Phase Detection Autofocus. It is paired with a 50MP telephoto lens featuring 2x optical zoom and up to 20x digital zoom. An 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 16MP front camera complete the versatile setup. The device supports 4K video recording at 30fps, and features like Slow Motion, Time Lapse (4K), and EIS image stabilization.
The display is a 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED panel with Panda Glass protection, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It boasts 3,000 nits peak brightness, 10-bit color depth, HDR10+ support, and a 2160Hz PWM dimming for a better viewing experience even under bright sunlight.
Design and Durability
The Phone 2 Pro features an ultra-slim design, measuring just 7.8mm thick and weighing 185g. It is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance. CMF has also emphasized durability with several internal tests, including a 5J iron ball impact test and bending strength tests. The model introduces a universal accessory point with a removable cover, enabling users to easily attach accessories like a wallet-stand combo, lanyard, and interchangeable camera lenses for macro and fisheye photography.
Software and Battery
The CMF Phone 2 Pro runs on Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15. It comes with a promise of 3 years of major Android updates and 6 years of security patches. The device houses a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging capabilities. According to official claims, the phone can play YouTube videos for up to 22 hours or support 10 hours of gaming on Battlegrounds Mobile India on a full charge.

As part of the launch offer, buyers can avail a Rs 1,000 discount on select e-commerce platforms like Croma and Reliance Digital, bringing the starting effective price to Rs 17,999. Sales begin on May 5.
The device will be available in White, Black, Light Green, and Orange colour options.
