The teaser offers a look at the revised front fascia, which now gets full LED headlamps with a new DRL signature and updated bumpers featuring vertical fog lamp housings. The grille design has also been tweaked. At the rear, the Altroz facelift features LED tail lamps with a T-shaped motif, connected by an LED light bar. The rear bumper sports a dual-tone finish, while illuminated flush-type door handles add a modern touch. New alloy wheels inspired by EV design and fresh exterior colours are expected.

Inside, while Tata has yet to reveal the full interior, the facelift is likely to feature a redesigned dashboard with soft-touch materials and updated upholstery. The 10.25-inch touchscreen, currently limited to the Altroz Racer, will be offered in more variants. A new digital instrument cluster and 360-degree camera will also be part of the update.

Powertrain Options to Remain Unchanged

Mechanically, the Altroz is expected to carry forward its existing five powertrain choices. These include:

  • 88hp, 1.2-litre petrol (5-speed manual, 6-speed DCT)
  • 73.5hp CNG (5-speed manual)
  • 90hp, 1.5-litre diesel (5-speed manual)
  • 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (6-speed manual in Altroz Racer)

Tata will continue to offer the Altroz as the only diesel-powered hatchback in the country.
