MG M9 electric limousine bookings open at Rs 51,000; offers luxury features like Presidential Seats, 430 km range, Level 2 ADAS, and more. Deliveries to begin soon.
JSW MG Motor India has officially opened bookings for its new luxury electric MPV, the MG M9, under its premium channel MG SELECT. Customers can reserve the vehicle at a token amount of Rs 51,000 through the official MG SELECT website. The M9, also known as the ‘Presidential Limousine’, was earlier showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo.
Presidential-Level Luxury and Features
The MG M9 focuses on high-end comfort, offering Presidential Seats with 16-way adjustment, ventilation, heating, and eight massage modes. The second-row captain seats recline and are paired with a fold-out ottoman for enhanced leg comfort.
The cabin is offered in dual-tone options – Cognac Brown or Pure Black – and features 64-colour ambient lighting, a 12-speaker sound system, and a dual yacht-style panoramic sunroof. Additional amenities include rear entertainment screens, a floating central console, and 3-zone climate control.
Commenting on the launch, Milind Shah, Interim Head, MG SELECT, said,
“The MG M9 is a new-age car crafted for discerning customers seeking an elevated experience of being chauffeured. As the longest and widest in the segment, it offers luxury of space, comfort and convenience, redefining what a Presidential Limousine can be.”
Electric Powertrain and Range
Powering the MG M9 is a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery, paired with a front-wheel-drive electric motor delivering 245 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It offers a WLTP-certified range of 430 km on a single charge. With DC fast charging support, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes using a 120 kW charger.
Dimensions and Seating
The M9 stands out as the largest in its class with dimensions of 5,270 mm (length), 2,000 mm (width), and 1,840 mm (height), along with a 3,200 mm wheelbase. It will be offered in 6- and 7-seater configurations, providing ample space across all rows.
Safety and Technology
The MG M9 is equipped with a Level 2 ADAS suite, 7 airbags, 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, parking sensors, and voice command support. Connectivity is enhanced with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and multiple USB ports. The retractable panoramic sunroof opens or closes in 15 seconds.
Colour Options and Availability
The electric limousine will be available in three colour choices – Cardiff Black, Mystic Grey, and Luminous White. MG has already set up 13 MG SELECT showrooms across key cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai. Deliveries of the MG M9 are expected to begin in the coming weeks.
Segment Positioning
Once launched, the MG M9 will compete with other high-end MPVs like the Kia Carnival, Toyota Vellfire, and Lexus LM. It is expected to carry an ex-showroom price between Rs 60 to 70 lakh.
