vivo S30 Pro Mini and vivo S30 are set to launch this May with a 6.31″ OLED display, 6500mAh battery, and upgraded chipsets. The S30 Pro Mini will feature Dimensity 9400e, while the S30 is expected to come with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.
vivo is gearing up to unveil the S30 series as the follow-up to last year’s S20 lineup. The launch is expected later this month, and key details have already been shared by vivo China’s Product VP, Ouyang Weifeng.
This time around, the brand is adding a new model to the lineup – the vivo S30 Pro Mini. It will feature a 6.31-inch flat OLED display and pack a large 6500mAh battery. This device will take the place of the standard S30 Pro model. An image shared by Weifeng shows the phone in blue, placed next to the iPhone 16 Pro, highlighting its similar thickness. The image also confirms the presence of a metal frame.
Meanwhile, the regular vivo S30 is expected to feature a slightly larger 6.67-inch flat display. The company says the design will continue to focus on being sleek and stylish.

On the performance front, leaker Digital Chat Station claims the S30 Pro Mini will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. The standard vivo S30, on the other hand, is expected to use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7750) processor. This will be an upgrade over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 used in the previous S18, S19, and S20 models.
Both the S30 and S30 Pro Mini are said to come with the same 6500mAh battery. Additionally, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens is expected to be part of the camera setup on both models.
