Honda has officially unveiled the updated 2026 CB 125 F (SP125) in Germany, bringing a range of new features to the popular 125cc commuter. Aimed at A1 license holders, the CB 125 F has been a consistent performer in the German market, ranking 14th among the top-selling light motorcycles in 2024. Since its European launch in 2015, around 82,000 units have been sold in Germany alone. The new model is set to go on sale in May with notable updates to both tech and efficiency.

One of the most significant upgrades for 2026 is the introduction of an automatic start-stop system, which is already offered on the SP125 in India. This system shuts off the engine during idle and restarts it when the clutch is pulled in, making it ideal for city traffic and stop-and-go situations. This feature enhances fuel efficiency, giving the CB 125 F an edge in the 125cc commuter segment.

In addition to this, Honda has equipped the CB 125 F with its Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology, which reduces internal friction to boost both performance and mileage. The bike also gets an ACG starter for silent engine starts. Thanks to these updates, the CB 125 F claims a fuel efficiency of 100 km on 1.4 litres—approximately 71 km/l. In real-world conditions, riders can expect between 60-65 km/l. With an 11-litre fuel tank, the certified range stands at roughly 800 km.

New TFT Display and Connectivity Features

Another major update is the addition of a 4.2-inch TFT colour display, which comes with Honda’s RoadSync connectivity suite. Riders can now manage calls, check weather updates, access navigation, and control music through voice commands. The console also shows useful data like real-time and average mileage, range, gear position, eco mode indicator, and service alerts. A Type-C USB charging port has been added as well.

Complies With Euro 5+ Norms

The 2026 model is now compliant with Euro 5+ emission standards, aligning it with the latest environmental regulations. It uses the same 124cc engine producing 11 hp and 11 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Top speed remains at 95 km/h.

Mechanical Setup and Hardware

While the tech has received a boost, the mechanical components remain unchanged. The CB 125 F continues to use a diamond frame with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and rear drum, supported by a Combined Braking System (CBS). A seat height of 790mm ensures easy accessibility and good control for most riders.

Price and Colour Options

Despite all the upgrades, Honda has kept the pricing unchanged. The 2026 CB 125 F is priced at €3,299 (approx. Rs 3.14 lakh). The motorcycle is built in India and exported to various European markets. In Germany, it will be offered in three colour options: Imperial Red Metallic, Matt Marvel Blue Metallic, and Matt Axis Gray Metallic. Indian variants come with two additional shades—Pearl Igneous Black and Pearl Siren Blue.
