HONOR 400 Series is set to launch on May 22, featuring the HONOR 400 and HONOR 400 Pro with a 200MP AI camera, AI video creation tools, 6000mAh battery, 100W fast charging, and advanced photo editing features.
HONOR is preparing to introduce its latest smartphones — the HONOR 400 and HONOR 400 Pro — with a strong focus on AI-driven photography and enhanced durability. The upcoming HONOR 400 Series promises to deliver a flagship-level mobile photography experience, highlighted by a 200-megapixel AI main camera, AI Creative Editor tools, a long-lasting 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging, and a 5,000-nit ultra-bright display.
Advanced 200MP AI Camera
At the heart of the HONOR 400 Series is a powerful 200MP AI camera system. The primary sensor is a 1/1.4-inch unit with f/1.9 aperture and dual stabilization (OIS + EIS), which helps capture sharp, detailed images even in low-light environments.
Powered by the HONOR Image Engine, the phones offer an upgraded photography experience with support from advanced AI capabilities. One of the key highlights is the AI Super Zoom, which allows up to 30x telephoto shooting directly from the main sensor — a first in the smartphone industry. This is designed to help users capture distant subjects such as landscapes or city skylines with improved detail and clarity.
AI-Powered Editing Tools
The HONOR 400 Series also introduces several AI editing features. The AI Erase function can remove unwanted objects or people from the background of photos with a single tap, making it easy to create cleaner, distraction-free images.

Another standout is the AI Image to Video feature, developed in collaboration with Google Cloud. It uses Google’s Veo AI model to convert still images into realistic, high-quality videos. The feature supports MP4 video output and Moving Photo formats in 16:9 or 9:16 ratios. It takes roughly one minute to generate a 5-second video. Users can enjoy this feature for free from May 15 to August 31, with up to 10 uses daily during the trial period.
In addition, AI Upscale allows users to restore old or damaged portrait photos by removing scratches, enhancing image resolution, and bringing back lost details.
Moving Photo and Collage Features
The HONOR 400 Series also supports HD Moving Photo, which captures the first three seconds of motion in a scene. HONOR adds a new feature called Moving Photo Collage, which allows users to combine between 2 to 9 moving photos into a single dynamic collage — ideal for sharing story-driven content on social platforms.
Design, Colors, and Availability
Both phones in the series come in stylish finishes. The HONOR 400 will be available in Midnight Black, Meteor Silver, and Desert Gold, while the HONOR 400 Pro will come in Midnight Black, Lunar Grey, and Tidal Blue.
The HONOR 400 Series is scheduled to be officially unveiled on May 22 at an event in London, United Kingdom. Pre-orders will open soon with promotional offers and bundled gifts for early buyers.
