KTM RC 200 Price Increased to ₹2.32 Lakh

KTM has increased the price of the RC 200 in India, raising it by ₹11,000 this month. The bike, which was priced at ₹2.21 lakh (ex-showroom) earlier, now costs ₹2.32 lakh. This update follows the motorcycle’s upgrade to meet the latest OBD-2B emission standards. However, the sharp rise in price suggests that there could be additional reasons behind the hike, though KTM has not officially confirmed this yet.

Falling Demand for RC Series

The entire KTM RC lineup has seen a decline in demand across various regions over recent months. Dealer reports indicate a dip in enquiries since the last festive season. It’s possible that many buyers are holding off for the next-generation models. Notably, the new version of the RC 390 was spotted nearly a year ago, featuring noticeable changes. Its global debut is expected later this year at the EICMA show, followed by a possible launch in India.

Engine and Hardware Details

The RC 200 continues to be based on a steel trellis frame paired with WP Apex suspension — non-adjustable at both ends. Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS for safety.
