Norton V4 superbike to launch in India in 2025 under TVS. The V4 SV and V4 CR, powered by a 1200cc V4 engine, offer 185 BHP and premium features.

Norton Motorcycles is set to make its India debut later this year under TVS Motor Company’s leadership. While TVS acquired the iconic British motorcycle brand back in 2020, the company only recently confirmed Norton’s official entry into the Indian market. Initial launches will feature fully imported models, with local production plans in the pipeline for both domestic and export markets.
At the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, TVS showcased the Norton V4 SV and its cafe racer version, the V4 CR, giving Indian enthusiasts a glimpse of what to expect. Among these, the V4 SV stands out as the flagship superbike, built with lightweight carbon fibre bodywork and carbon wheels, while the V4 CR offers a more aggressive, naked styling.

According to Autocar India, Norton is preparing to launch in India by the end of 2025 with two motorcycles—one of which will be a top-tier superbike. The brand is also reportedly developing a new model under the internal codename “B110,” which is said to feature a 1200cc, four-cylinder engine.

Both the V4 SV and V4 CR run on a 1,200cc, 72-degree, liquid-cooled V4 engine that delivers 185 BHP at 12,000 rpm and 125 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm. These performance figures position the V4 range at the premium end of the market, and in Europe, prices start at over 42,000 Euros (approximately Rs 40.31 lakh). These models are priced significantly higher than rivals like Ducati and Triumph, but could benefit from the recently signed Free Trade Agreement between India and the UK.

Built for performance, both models feature a high-end aluminium chassis with CNC-machined billet-aluminium swingarms, Öhlins suspension components, and top-spec Brembo cycle parts.
Initially, Norton motorcycles will be sold in India via the CBU (Completely Built-Up) route. However, TVS is actively working on enabling local assembly of Norton models in India, which could help reduce costs and expand availability. Over the next three years, Norton plans to launch up to six new models across various engine categories, including single-cylinder, twin-cylinder, and V4 configurations.
More information on the upcoming launches is expected to be revealed in the coming months.
