Oppo Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro launched in China with triple 50MP cameras, Dimensity chipsets, Android 15, OLED displays, and up to 1TB storage. India launch expected soon.
OPPO has officially introduced the Reno 14 series in China, consisting of the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro. These smartphones bring several notable upgrades, including triple 50MP cameras, high-end MediaTek Dimensity processors, and Android 15 with ColorOS 15. With premium features packed into both models, the Reno 14 series is expected to enter the Indian market in the near future.
Design and Display
The Reno 14 Pro sports a large 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. The standard Reno 14 features a slightly smaller 6.59-inch OLED panel with the same resolution and refresh rate. Both displays support 3,840Hz PWM dimming, offering smoother visuals and reduced eye strain.
Performance and Hardware
Powering the Reno 14 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the Reno 14 uses the Dimensity 8350. Both devices offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, ensuring strong multitasking and storage performance.
Camera Setup
The Reno 14 series highlights a powerful camera configuration. Both models feature a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x zoom. The Pro variant gets an additional 50MP ultra-wide camera, while the standard model comes with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, both phones house a 50MP selfie camera.
Battery and Charging
The OPPO Reno 14 is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, while the Pro variant offers a slightly larger 6,200mAh unit. Both models support 80W wired fast charging. Additionally, the Reno 14 Pro supports 50W wireless AIRVOOC charging for added convenience.
Software and Additional Features
Both smartphones run Android 15 with ColorOS 15 out of the box. Other key features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C support. The Reno 14 series is also IP66, IP68, and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance.
Colours and Availability
The Reno 14 Pro is available in Mermaid, Calla Lily Purple, and Reef Black, while the Reno 14 comes in Mermaid, Half Summer Green, and Reef Black. These phones are currently available for pre-order in China.
