TECNO Pova Curve 5G is set to launch on May 29 with a curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300 chipset, Android 15, Ella AI, and 64MP camera, offering a premium design in the budget 5G segment.
TECNO has officially announced that the Pova Curve 5G will launch in India on May 29. After a series of teasers, the brand has now revealed key features of the upcoming smartphone, positioning it as a feature-packed budget 5G device with a premium design.
The standout feature of the Pova Curve 5G is its curved AMOLED display, a design element once reserved for flagship smartphones but now making its way into the affordable segment. TECNO says the curved display is designed for better grip and overall comfort, though further ergonomic details are yet to be shared.

The phone will be available in Black and Silver colour options. The design teaser also confirms a Galaxy S25 Edge-style camera bump, along with a noticeable orange accent near the power button, giving it a unique look in its segment.
Under the hood, the Pova Curve 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, previously seen on Google Play Console listings under the model number MT6978. The listing also confirmed 8GB of RAM and Android 15 out of the box, with TECNO’s HiOS 15 skin on top.
The software will also include TECNO’s own voice assistant, Ella AI. This smart assistant will support features such as multilingual interaction, AI Call Assistant, Auto Answer, and AI Voiceprint Noise Suppression. According to TECNO, Ella will help users find solutions quickly and improve hands-free usability.
On the network front, the phone will support 5G++—a high-speed, low-latency connectivity option offered by telecom providers like Reliance Jio and Airtel. It also features VoWiFi Dual Pass and an Intelligent Signal Hub System, designed to offer strong call quality even in areas with weak mobile signals.

As for the camera setup, the teaser confirms a 64MP primary sensor, accompanied by a secondary camera. While TECNO hasn’t detailed the second sensor, more information is expected closer to the launch.
The Pova Curve 5G will be sold exclusively via Flipkart after its launch, with pricing and full specifications likely to be revealed on the launch day.
