Honda CB750 Hornet Launched in India at ₹8.5 Lakh

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has officially launched the new CB750 Hornet in the country at an ex-showroom price of ₹8.5 lakh (Gurugram). Positioned as a premium mid-weight streetfighter, the CB750 Hornet joins Honda’s BigWing lineup alongside the CB650R. Bookings for the motorcycle are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin in June 2025.

Design and Features

Following Honda’s ‘Aggressive X Pure’ design theme, the CB750 Hornet stands out with sharp body lines, muscular tank extensions, and a full LED lighting setup. It will be available in two paint options—Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic.

The motorcycle features a 5.0-inch full-colour TFT display, which supports smartphone connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app. Riders can access navigation, music, and call notifications via Bluetooth. The bike also comes with illuminated handlebar switchgear for added convenience.

Engine and Performance

Powering the CB750 Hornet is a 755cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with an 8-valve setup and a 270-degree crank. It delivers 90.5 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear transitions.

Suspension and Braking

Suspension duties are managed by a Showa SFF-BP upside-down front fork and a Pro-Link monoshock at the rear. Braking performance is handled by dual 296mm front discs and a 240mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS for added safety.

Electronics and Riding Aids

The CB750 Hornet is equipped with four riding modes—Sport, Standard, Rain, and User—allowing riders to adjust performance based on their preference. It also includes Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) with three levels of intervention and an emergency stop signal feature for added safety.

Availability

The new CB750 Hornet will be available at all Honda BigWing and BigWing Topline dealerships across the country.
