New TVS Jupiter 125 Teased Ahead of Launch – Here’s What to Expect

TVS teases the all-new Jupiter 125 ahead of launch. Expected to feature updated design, LED lighting, digital console with SmartXonnect, and a 125cc engine with iGO Assist.

TVS Motor has officially teased the upcoming Jupiter 125 on its social media platforms, signaling that the launch is just around the corner. The teaser video offers a glimpse of the scooter’s rear end, revealing a revised tail lamp setup and a few design changes. While the full design is yet to be unveiled, early indications suggest a noticeable update over the current model.

The new Jupiter 125 is expected to carry forward its familiar 125cc, single-cylinder engine. In its standard form, this motor produces 8 BHP and 10.5 Nm of torque. The iGO Assist version, available in select variants, delivers a slightly higher output of 8.44 BHP and 11.1 Nm. A CVT gearbox will continue to handle transmission duties. These engine specifications are expected to remain unchanged in the updated model.

On the features front, the new Jupiter 125 could come with a digital instrument cluster, possibly equipped with TVS’ SmartXonnect Bluetooth system. Other expected additions include LED headlamp with a ‘follow-me’ function, hazard lights, and a more accessible front fuel filler cap. While TVS has not confirmed these features yet, the brand has been gradually adding modern tech to its scooters, making this update likely.

Design-wise, the upcoming Jupiter 125 is likely to draw inspiration from the updated Jupiter 110, which launched last year with a fresh design language. This includes LED DRLs, sleek turn indicators, and an overall sharper profile. The teaser also highlights a single-piece seat and grab rail, with the model shown in a copper color shade, which may serve as one of the launch colors.

TVS continues to strengthen its scooter portfolio, especially in the competitive 125cc segment where the Jupiter nameplate already holds strong ground. As the second highest-selling scooter brand in the country after Honda’s Activa, TVS aims to further solidify its presence with this update.

Core elements such as 12-inch wheels, a 220mm front petal disc brake, generous under-seat storage, and front-mounted fuel filler cap are expected to be retained or improved in the upcoming version.

With the official teaser now live, more details about the new Jupiter 125 are likely to emerge soon. A launch date should be announced shortly, and all eyes will be on how this refreshed model stacks up against rivals in the 125cc space.
