BMW Motorrad has revealed the Concept RR superbike at Villa d’Este, featuring over 230hp, race-inspired aerodynamics, and lightweight carbon construction inspired by the M 1000 RR.

BMW Motorrad has revealed its latest superbike vision — the BMW Motorrad Concept RR — at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este at Lake Como. The new concept is a preview of what to expect from the future generation of BMW RR models, combining advanced performance engineering with a sharp, race-inspired design.
According to Markus Flasch, Head of BMW Motorrad, the Concept RR marks the earliest glimpse ever given into the next generation of the brand’s RR superbikes. “It’s a true masterpiece,” said Flasch, highlighting that the Concept RR draws direct inspiration from the factory superbike M 1000 RR, which helped Toprak Razgatlıoğlu secure victory in last year’s FIM World Superbike Championship.
Built from the Track for the Street
At the core of the Concept RR is the water-cooled inline four-cylinder engine taken directly from BMW’s WSBK machine, producing over 230 hp (169 kW). Paired with race-derived electronics — including engine management, traction control, and engine brake systems — the superbike concept delivers a performance package ready for both track and road.
Lightweight Materials and Aerodynamic Focus
BMW Motorrad has focused heavily on lightweight construction and aerodynamic efficiency. High-tech materials like carbon and aluminum are used extensively throughout the bike. From the frame to smaller components, every detail is optimized for reduced weight and improved performance.

The design includes sharp lines and minimal external parts, helping improve airflow. The ventilated front end and streamlined tail section, which also features an illuminated RR logo, contribute to better stability at high speeds, maximum cornering ability, and reduced drag. Integrated aero winglets and high-performance braking components add to the bike’s race-ready credentials.
Designed for the Demands of Racing
The Concept RR has been developed with a clear focus on racing performance. From aerodynamic fairings to enhanced structural rigidity and track-tuned electronics, the bike is designed to meet the high demands of superbike enthusiasts and professional racers alike.

Exclusive Concept RR LTD Jacket
Alongside the bike, BMW Motorrad has also introduced a limited-edition jacket — the Concept RR LTD. Crafted from premium calf Nappa leather in collaboration with Bavarian brand MEINDL, only 50 pieces of this high-end riding jacket will be produced. It reflects BMW Motorrad’s commitment to combining rider safety and comfort with standout design.
