Alcatel has introduced its new V3 5G smartphone lineup in India, which includes the V3 Classic, V3 Pro, and V3 Ultra models. The V3 Pro and Ultra feature TCL’s NXTPAPER display technology, designed to reduce eye strain with anti-glare and low blue light support. All three devices are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor and come with up to 8GB of RAM.

Display and Design

The V3 Classic sports a 6.67-inch HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro version also features a 6.67-inch HD+ display, but with NXTPAPER tech and anti-glare etched AG glass. The Ultra packs a larger 6.78-inch full-HD+ NXTPAPER display, also supporting 120Hz refresh rate and higher brightness levels of up to 650 nits. NXTPAPER screens on the Pro and Ultra offer various paper-like modes including Regular, Ink Paper, Max Ink, and Colour Paper.

Performance and Software

All three phones are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. RAM options include up to 6GB for the Classic and Ultra, while the Pro model exclusively comes with 8GB RAM. Storage goes up to 128GB on the Classic and Ultra, and 256GB on the Pro, all expandable via microSD. The V3 series runs Android 15 out-of-the-box, with the Ultra also promising three OS updates and four years of security patches.

Camera Setup

The V3 Classic 5G comes with a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP main sensor and a QVGA lens, along with an 8MP front camera. The Pro offers a 50MP primary camera paired with a 5MP ultra-wide shooter. The Ultra leads with a 108MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro unit. Selfie duties on the Ultra are handled by a 32MP front camera.

Battery and Charging

The Classic is powered by a 5,200mAh battery with 10W charging support. The Pro and Ultra have slightly smaller 5,010mAh batteries, but support faster 18W and 33W charging respectively. All models include a charger and protective case in the box. The Ultra also features stylus support, making it the first in its price segment to offer one.

Other Features

All variants are equipped with stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IP54-rated splash resistance, and NFC. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is standard across the lineup.

Alcatel V3 5G Series: Pricing and Availability

The V3 Classic 5G is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB + 128GB version, while the 6GB + 128GB variant is available at Rs. 14,999. The V3 Pro 5G comes in a single 8GB + 256GB model priced at Rs. 17,999. At the top end, the V3 Ultra 5G starts at Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and the 8GB + 128GB version is priced at Rs. 21,999.

All models will go on sale via Flipkart starting June 2 at 12 PM, with offline availability to follow. Colour options include Cosmic Grey and Halo White for the Classic, Matcha Green and Metallic Grey for the Pro, and Hyper Blue, Champagne Gold, and Ocean Grey for the Ultra.

Launch Offers

Buyers can avail launch discounts of Rs. 2,000 on the V3 Pro and Ultra, and Rs. 1,000 on the V3 Classic through ICICI, HDFC, SBI, and Axis Bank cards. Alternatively, an equivalent exchange bonus is available. No-cost EMI options of up to three months are also being offered.
