Mercedes-Benz India is set to launch the AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition on June 12, 2025. Inspired by Indian culture, this limited-run SUV is expected to feature exclusive styling while retaining its powerful V8 engine.

Mercedes-Benz India is preparing to launch a special ‘Collector’s Edition’ of the AMG G 63 SUV on June 12, 2025. This upcoming edition will pay tribute to India, taking design inspiration from the country’s vibrant landscapes and culture. It is expected to be a limited-run model and the first India-specific version of the iconic G-Wagon.
Developed in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, the Collector’s Edition will be jointly showcased by both teams on launch day. Teaser images reveal an eye-catching orange exterior paired with silver alloy wheels. Although interior previews haven’t been shared yet, a unique cabin theme tailored for this edition is expected.

Under the hood, the Collector’s Edition is expected to retain the same 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine found in the standard AMG G 63. This setup delivers 577 bhp and 850 Nm of torque, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. It also comes with Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, which includes locking differentials, low- and high-range modes, and axle detachment capabilities for true off-road performance.
Performance figures are likely to remain unchanged, with a 0–100 km/h time of 4.4 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 220 km/h.
The G 63 is already packed with premium features, and the Collector’s Edition is expected to offer the same list. This includes dual 12.3-inch digital screens, dual-tone upholstery, powered front seats, ambient lighting, a full LED lighting package, multi-zone climate control, and advanced driver assistance systems.

The standard G 63 currently retails for ₹3.64 crore (ex-showroom), and the Collector’s Edition is expected to carry a notable premium, given its exclusive styling and limited production. With only a small number likely to be made, this special edition could be in high demand right from the launch.
Stay tuned as all details will be officially revealed on June 12, when Mercedes-Benz showcases this India-inspired AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition.
