2026 Kia EV9 brings design enhancements, updated color options, and improved range across select trims. Check out pricing, variants, and new features for Kia’s all-electric three-row SUV.

Kia America has officially announced pricing and updates for the 2026 EV9, the brand’s flagship all-electric three-row SUV. Now entering its third model year, the EV9 gets a fresh update with the addition of a stylish new Nightfall Edition, extended range on select trims, and new color options — all while maintaining its premium appeal.
The 2026 EV9 will be available in five trims. The base Light SR is priced at $54,900 (Rs. 46.9 lakh), followed by the Light Long Range at $57,900 (Rs. 49.5 lakh), Wind at $63,900 (Rs. 54.6 lakh), Land at $68,900 (Rs. 58.9 lakh), and the top-spec GT-Line at $71,900 (Rs. 61.5 lakh). All prices are before destination charges. These options make the EV9 one of the more competitive electric SUVs in its segment, especially considering the updates introduced for the new model year.
While the base price of the 2026 EV9 remains unchanged from the previous model year, Kia has lowered prices for the Light Long Range, Land, and GT-Line trims by up to $2,000, making them more attractive to buyers. The EV9 continues to offer two battery choices — a 76.1 kWh pack for the standard variants and a larger 99.8 kWh unit for extended-range models. Power output varies depending on the configuration, ranging from 201 hp in the base model to 215 hp, and topping out at 379 hp in the high-performance GT-Line.
A major highlight of the 2026 EV9 is the Nightfall Edition, available exclusively with the Land AWD trim. This special edition brings a more aggressive and premium appearance with 20-inch gloss black wheels, gloss black trim, blacked-out Kia badging, and unique interior design elements including exclusive seat stitching. It also offers flexibility with both 6- and 7-passenger seating configurations available at no extra cost. The Nightfall Edition also introduces a new color — Roadrider Brown — which is exclusive to this version.
Kia has also improved the all-electric range for some trims. The Light Long Range is expected to deliver up to 305 miles on a single charge, while the Wind and Land trims are estimated at 283 miles. The GT-Line should provide up to 280 miles. These updated figures make the 2026 EV9 more suitable for long-distance driving, giving it a stronger edge in the growing electric SUV market.

In terms of driving capability, all AWD variants now come equipped with a Terrain Mode, replacing the previous 4WD system. This new feature adds selectable driving modes for Snow, Mud, and Sand, enhancing the EV9’s off-road and all-weather performance.
Kia has also refreshed the color palette. The GT-Line gains two new two-tone paint options: Glacial White Pearl with an Ebony Black roof and Wolf Gray with an Ebony Black roof. Combined with the Nightfall Edition’s unique styling cues, the 2026 EV9 lineup offers more visual customization than before.
