HONOR has unveiled the budget-friendly EarBuds X9 in China with 49dB Active Noise Cancellation, 12.4mm drivers, spatial audio, and up to 42 hours of total battery life.
At its recent HONOR 400 series event in China, HONOR also introduced its latest true wireless earbuds – the HONOR EarBuds X9. Designed for budget-conscious users, these earbuds pack several high-end features including up to 49dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a massive 42-hour total battery life.
Key Features & Audio Performance
The EarBuds X9 are powered by 12.4mm composite drivers, promising deep bass and crisp highs. They have earned the Golden Ear Product Certification from the China Electronic Audio Industry Association, highlighting their sound quality. The earbuds also support spatial audio effects, enhancing the overall listening experience.
HONOR includes four preset EQ sound profiles—Powerful Bass, Warm Vocals, Classical Soundtrack, and Bright High Notes—allowing users to personalize audio according to preference.
Noise Cancellation & Call Clarity
One of the highlights is the 49dB Deep ANC, which works alongside dual microphones with AI-powered call noise reduction for clearer conversations. Whether on a call or listening to music, ambient sounds are kept at bay.
Battery & Charging
Each earbud houses a 45mAh battery, offering up to 9 hours of playback on a single charge. Combined with the 500mAh charging case, the total battery life goes up to 42 hours. A quick 10-minute charge via USB-C delivers up to 3 hours of listening time, making them ideal for quick top-ups.
Design & Connectivity
Weighing only 5.3g per earbud, the EarBuds X9 are compact and comfortable. The IP54 rating ensures protection from dust and light water splashes, making them suitable for workouts or outdoor use.
Connectivity-wise, the earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.3 and support SBC and AAC codecs. They’re compatible with Google Fast Pair and can connect to two devices simultaneously. Additional features include touch controls, Bluetooth ring search, and automatic pairing when the case is opened.

Price and Availability
The HONOR EarBuds X9 are currently on sale in China, priced at 299 yuan, which is approximately $41 or ₹3,545. They are available in blue and white color options. HONOR has not yet shared details about international availability.
