vivo has officially launched its new flagship tablet, the vivo Pad5, alongside the S30 smartphone series in China. Positioned between the previously released Pad SE and Pad5 Pro, the new Pad5 offers a powerful set of features designed for both productivity and entertainment.

The vivo Pad5 sports a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800 x 1968 pixels and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The screen also supports a peak brightness of up to 900 nits, offering clear visuals even in bright environments. The tablet features a unique 7.1:5 aspect ratio, making it well-suited for reading, multitasking, and media consumption.
Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the tablet is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, depending on the variant. It also includes a 34200mm² superconducting 3D cooling system to help manage thermals during demanding tasks or gaming.
Battery and Charging
The Pad5 is housed in an all-metal unibody design, measuring just 6.62mm thick and weighing 590 grams. Despite its slim profile, the tablet packs a robust 10,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging via USB Type-C.
Camera and Audio
On the camera front, the tablet includes an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for video calls. It features a six-speaker audio setup, offering an immersive audio experience for movies, music, and gaming. The tablet also supports USB Type-C audio.
Software and Accessories
The vivo Pad5 runs Android 15 with OriginOS 5, which is optimized for tablets. The company is also offering accessories including the Smart Touch Keyboard, Pencil2s Stylus, and a double-sided flip cover, sold separately.

The tablet supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C, making it future-ready in terms of wireless connectivity.
