TVS Motor Company has rolled out the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V in India, now priced at ₹1.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle receives a set of functional upgrades, along with visual enhancements, while continuing to offer the same performance and feature set that made it a popular pick among enthusiasts.

The standout update for the 2025 model is the inclusion of a 37mm USD front fork, replacing the previous telescopic setup. This new suspension is expected to offer better stability, especially during cornering and high-speed riding. Alongside this, a new hydroformed handlebar has been introduced, which is designed to improve overall rigidity and rider control.

Visually, the Apache RTR 200 4V now gets a red-painted front alloy wheel and revised graphics that lend a sportier look. It is offered in three colour options: Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey.

Mechanically, the motorcycle continues to be powered by a 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 20.8hp at 9,000rpm and 17.25Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. The engine remains unchanged in terms of output but is now compliant with the latest OBD-2B emission norms, ensuring it meets current environmental regulations. The 5-speed gearbox, race-tuned slipper clutch, and other mechanical components remain the same.

The 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V retains its segment-leading features including three riding modes – Urban, Sport, and Rain – that adjust throttle response and ABS behaviour. It also comes equipped with dual-channel ABS with rear lift-off protection, a fully digital instrument console, adjustable clutch and brake levers, TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity with voice assist and turn-by-turn navigation, and an all-LED lighting setup with DRLs.

The Apache RTR 200 4V has consistently been one of the most tech-rich motorcycles in its class since its debut in 2016. This 2025 update continues to enhance its appeal with practical improvements while staying true to its core strengths — performance, control, and everyday usability.

At ₹1.54 lakh, the Apache RTR 200 4V competes with the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar N250. While it doesn’t receive any major engine upgrades, the addition of USD forks and OBD-2B compliance makes it a more rounded package for riders seeking a blend of technology and performance in the 200cc segment.
