Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and anticipation is building ahead of its official unveiling. With the next Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July in New York City, several leaks and teasers have already surfaced online, giving fans a closer look at what’s expected to be the brand’s slimmest and most refined foldable phone yet.

A leaked promotional poster, shared on Reddit and the Korean forum DogDrip, offers a closer look at what appears to be a major design upgrade for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. The images reveal a noticeably slimmer profile, with a refined hinge design that contributes to a sleeker overall appearance. According to reports, the foldable could measure just 9mm when closed and a remarkably slim 4.5mm when fully unfolded. If accurate, this would make the Galaxy Z Fold 7 one of the thinnest foldables available, directly addressing user concerns about the bulkiness seen in previous generations.

In addition to the sleek design, Samsung is expected to pack the Galaxy Z Fold 7 with new hardware and software improvements. The foldable will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite” chipset, which should deliver enhanced performance and improved energy efficiency. It will likely come preloaded with One UI 8 based on Android 16, offering users the latest features and system-level enhancements straight out of the box.

Camera upgrades are also expected to be a key focus. Samsung has teased the integration of AI-powered camera technology, which could improve image processing, scene optimization, and real-time adjustments—bringing a noticeable upgrade to photography and video capture on the device. The triple rear camera system is confirmed, with leaks pointing to a 50MP main lens accompanied by enhanced software capabilities.

Storage and RAM options are expected to include 12GB RAM paired with 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, along with a top-end variant offering 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage. Samsung is also rumored to introduce new color options for the Fold 7, including Black, Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, and Coral Red.

Adding to the excitement, Samsung has begun teasing the device through its official channels. In the latest teaser, the company describes the Galaxy Z Fold 7 as “Thin, Light and Built to Last,” claiming it will offer “an Ultra experience that goes beyond a simple list of upgraded features.” Although the device is not explicitly named in the teaser, the imagery clearly points to the book-style foldable and not the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Samsung also emphasizes that this will be its “thinnest, lightest, and most advanced foldable yet,” though it has stopped short of revealing detailed specifications.

Alongside the Fold 7, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and a new Flip 7 FE model at the same event, expanding its foldable lineup to cater to a broader audience.
