Oppo A5 5G is expected to launch in India soon with a Dimensity 6300 chipset, 6,000mAh battery, and 120Hz LCD display.
After launching the Oppo A5 Pro 5G in April, Oppo appears to be gearing up to introduce another affordable 5G smartphone in India. A new report by SmartPrix reveals that the Oppo A5 5G will soon make its way to the Indian market, and a leaked live image has now revealed several key specifications of the upcoming device.
The leak includes a photo of the device’s “About phone” screen, giving an early look at the front design and confirming core hardware details. The phone is listed under the model number CPH2751 and runs ColorOS 15.0, based on Android 15. It also features Oppo’s Trinity Engine for improved system performance.
According to the leak, the Oppo A5 5G will come with a 6.6-inch display featuring a punch-hole design. Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, the same one used in the A5 Pro 5G, which should offer efficient 5G performance for everyday tasks. It’s backed by a large 6,000mAh battery, which suggests strong battery life—especially for users who need a device that lasts throughout the day.
In terms of memory, the phone will include 6GB of physical RAM, 4GB of virtual RAM expansion, and 128GB of internal storage. While full details about the camera setup and fast-charging support haven’t been officially confirmed, earlier reports indicate the device may share specs with its global variant.
Based on that, the Oppo A5 5G is expected to feature an LCD panel with HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Camera-wise, it may include an 8MP selfie camera and a dual rear setup comprising a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. Other expected features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 45W fast charging, and an IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
As for pricing, the Oppo A5 5G is likely to launch in two configurations—8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The base variant is tipped to be priced at ₹15,499, making it a competitive option in the budget 5G smartphone space.
Oppo has yet to officially announce the launch date, but with retail images and internal specs now surfacing online, the official release may not be far off.
