Mercedes-Benz India launches the EQS 580 4MATIC Celebration Edition at ₹1.30 crore. Limited to 50 units, it features enhanced rear-seat comfort, a 857 km range, and fast-charging support.
Mercedes-Benz India has introduced a new special edition of its flagship electric sedan — the EQS 580 4MATIC ‘Celebration Edition’. Priced at ₹1.30 crore (ex-showroom), this limited-run model is restricted to just 50 units and marks the brand’s celebration of growing demand for luxury electric vehicles in the country.
The launch of the Celebration Edition also coincides with Mercedes-Benz’s continued expansion in the luxury EV space. The company recently opened a boutique showroom in Adyar, Chennai, under its ‘Atelier Experience’ retail concept. This is the 11th luxury touchpoint Mercedes-Benz has added in 2025 alone, with plans for 19 more before the year ends.
The EQS 580 Celebration Edition primarily focuses on improving rear-seat comfort — an area that many buyers in the luxury sedan segment consider a priority. The new version comes equipped with the Rear Seat Comfort Package, which includes Executive Seats that recline up to 38 degrees, multi-contour seats with massage functions, as well as neck and shoulder heating. Passengers at the rear also benefit from the Chauffeur Package, which features electronically tiltable front seats to create more legroom.
The cabin features full Nappa leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and designer belt buckles finished in chrome — all aimed at enhancing the sense of luxury and exclusivity.

In terms of performance, there are no changes under the hood. The EQS 580 Celebration Edition retains the powerful dual-motor setup, delivering 516 bhp and 855 Nm of torque. It’s powered by a 107.8 kWh battery, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. Mercedes-Benz claims an ARAI-certified range of 857 km — the highest of any BEV currently on sale in India. For convenience, the EV supports 200kW fast charging and can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 31 minutes.
Tech features include MBUX Augmented Reality navigation, which overlays real-time imagery with turn-by-turn guidance, enhancing the driving experience with a blend of practicality and futuristic tech.

For buyers looking for a performance EV with luxury limousine-like comfort at the rear, the EQS 580 Celebration Edition is a compelling choice — although with only 50 units being produced, availability will be extremely limited.
