Nothing has confirmed that Phone (3) will launch on July 1 with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The flagship device is expected to bring major performance upgrades and design changes, including a new rear display setup.

Nothing has officially confirmed that its upcoming flagship, the Phone (3), will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. This announcement comes ahead of the global launch set for July 1, which will take place in London. The device will also be introduced in India, US, and Canada markets simultaneously.
The use of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 might surprise some, especially those who expected Nothing to adopt the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or 8 Elite for its next-generation device. However, the company believes the chosen chipset strikes the right balance between performance and efficiency. In a press release, Nothing CEO Carl Pei stated that the new chipset brings a 36% boost in CPU performance over the Phone (2), along with 88% improved GPU performance and 60% faster NPU capabilities, delivering what he described as a “snappier” experience overall.
Design-wise, the Nothing Phone (3) is expected to stay true to the brand’s distinct aesthetic. While it may continue with the transparent back panel that has become synonymous with Nothing, reports suggest the Glyph Interface may be dropped in favour of a new dot matrix display or another innovative feature to offer visual interactivity on the back. This marks a potential shift in design philosophy for the brand.

In terms of optics, the smartphone is rumoured to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a periscope telephoto sensor—a first for the series. While full camera specifications are yet to be revealed, this setup hints at a major upgrade over the previous generation.
Alongside the smartphone, Nothing will also launch its first over-ear headphones, named Headphone 1, at the same July 1 event. These headphones are expected to compete directly with offerings from Sony and Bose, adding a new category to Nothing’s growing ecosystem of tech products.

As for pricing, leaked information suggests that the Nothing Phone (3) will be offered in two storage variants. The 12GB + 256GB model could be priced at USD 799 (around Rs. 69,000), while a new 16GB + 512GB variant might carry a price tag of USD 899 (approximately Rs. 77,700). Both are $100 more than their corresponding Phone (2) models, reflecting the upgraded hardware and flagship positioning.
More details, including official specifications, and pricing confirmations, will be shared at the launch event on July 1. Stay tuned for full coverage.
