Suzuki has officially unveiled the 2025 Burgman 400 for the European market, bringing a touch of freshness to its popular maxi-scooter. While the mechanical setup remains unchanged, the new model year introduces a trio of stylish colour options aimed at giving the Burgman a more refined and youthful presence.

For 2025, Suzuki has added three new shades to the Burgman 400’s palette — Pearl Matte Shadow Green with gold wheels, Black with golden rims, and Bright Metallic Blue. Among these, the Metallic Blue stands out with its sportier vibe, likely to appeal to younger riders looking for both comfort and flair.

Mechanically, the Burgman 400 continues to be powered by the same 400cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired with a CVT gearbox, delivering smooth and refined performance. Built on a steel underbone frame, the scooter rolls on a 15-inch front and 13-inch rear alloy wheel setup, offering a good balance of stability and ride comfort.

In terms of features, the Burgman 400 retains its twin-pod analogue console with a centrally mounted LCD screen, providing essential ride information. It also gets practical features such as a traction control system and a spacious under-seat storage compartment, which adds to its touring-friendly appeal. Lighting duties are handled by a full LED headlamp setup, further enhancing visibility and safety.

Suspension hardware includes telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring a composed ride across city roads and highways. Braking performance is handled by disc brakes at both ends, assisted by dual-channel ABS, which adds to the scooter’s overall safety credentials.

While the updates for 2025 are primarily aesthetic, they help keep the Burgman 400 relevant in the competitive maxi-scooter segment. However, it’s worth noting that the scooter is unlikely to launch in the Indian market anytime soon, as Suzuki currently continues to prioritise its smaller-capacity models for this region.
