Land Rover Defender 110 Trophy Edition Unveiled

Land Rover has revealed the Defender 110 Trophy Edition ahead of its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Offered in Deep Sandglow Yellow or Keswick Green, it features diesel and plug-in-hybrid options along with a range of optional off-road accessories.

Land Rover has taken the wraps off the new Defender 110 Trophy Edition, a special edition SUV that pays homage to the iconic Camel Trophy vehicles from the brand’s history. The new model is set to be showcased at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed and comes with a host of off-road-oriented upgrades along with distinctive visual elements. It also marks the launch of the Defender Trophy, a new global adventure competition in partnership with Tusk, which will take place in Africa.

The Defender 110 Trophy Edition is available in two heritage-inspired colours—Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green—paired with contrasting Gloss Black accents on the bonnet, lower bodyside, brake calipers, and rear tow hooks. It rides on gloss black 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in rugged all-terrain tyres and features a dark rear scuff plate, gloss black wheel arch protection, and a black front undershield. Trophy decals on the bonnet, C-pillar graphics, and rear badging distinguish this edition further. Buyers can also opt for practical accessories like a roof rack, raised air intake (snorkel), roof ladder, and front and rear mudflaps.

Inside, the SUV carries forward the exclusive theme with Ebony Windsor leather seats and illuminated ‘Trophy’ treadplates. The Cross Car Beam is finished in the exterior body colour and features laser-etched endcaps with Trophy branding, enhancing the cabin’s premium and adventurous appeal.

Under the hood, the Defender 110 Trophy Edition offers two powertrain options. The first is a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged diesel engine producing 355 bhp, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.1 seconds. The second is a plug-in hybrid setup that combines a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver a combined output of 305 bhp and a 0–100 kmph time of 7.4 seconds.

In the UK, the Defender 110 Trophy Edition is priced from £89,810 (approximately ₹1.04 crore). While this edition hasn’t been confirmed for the Indian market yet, Land Rover continues to offer the Defender 90, 110, and 130 in India with various engine options, including 2.0-litre turbo petrol, 3.0-litre diesel, 5.0-litre V8 petrol, and the newer 4.4-litre turbo petrol V8 in the recently launched Defender Octa variant, priced at ₹2.59 crore for the base and ₹2.79 crore for the Edition One.
