Honda launches the New City Sport in India as a new limited-edition variant with bold black styling, red-accented interiors, CVT transmission, and ADAS safety features. Priced at ₹14.89 lakh, it targets young buyers seeking a sporty sedan.

After the teaser, Honda Cars India has officially launched the Honda New City Sport, introducing a dynamic and more aggressive variant to its popular mid-size sedan range.
The City Sport will be available in limited numbers and offered exclusively with a CVT automatic transmission. It comes in three exterior colour options — Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic — and is priced at ₹14,88,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Pearl colour options carry an additional cost.

Visually, the City Sport stands out with a Sporty Black Grille, Black Trunk Lip Spoiler, Glossy Black Shark Fin Antenna, Black ORVMs, and Sporty Grey Multi-Spoke Alloy Wheels. The ‘Sport’ emblem on the rear reinforces the car’s exclusive identity. These elements give the car a more aggressive and athletic road presence compared to the standard variants.

Inside, the City Sport features an all-black interior theme with Premium Leather Seats, soft door inserts, and red contrast stitching on the seats, steering wheel, and door trims. The Black Roof Lining, Dark Red Dashboard Accents, and Glossy Black AC vents enhance the sporty ambiance. Adding to the cabin’s appeal is the inclusion of a 7-Colour Rhythmic Ambient Lighting system that adapts to the driving mood and complements the car’s dynamic interior.

Under the hood, the City Sport is powered by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that delivers 121PS of power and 145Nm of torque. The engine is E20 fuel compliant and paired with a CVT gearbox and paddle shifters, promising smooth yet responsive performance. Honda claims a fuel efficiency of 18.4 km/l for the variant.
