Mahindra is expected to update the Scorpio N with a panoramic sunroof and Level 2 ADAS, including features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking. No mechanical changes are expected.

Mahindra is reportedly working on a feature upgrade for the popular Scorpio N SUV, with top variants likely to get a panoramic sunroof and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). These additions could further enhance the appeal of the Scorpio N, especially among buyers seeking premium features in a rugged SUV package.
Currently, the higher-spec trims of the Scorpio N are offered with a single-pane sunroof. However, a panoramic sunroof could soon become part of the equipment list, aligning the Scorpio N more closely with rivals offering similar amenities.
In addition to the sunroof update, Mahindra is also said to be preparing to introduce Level 2 ADAS features, expanding the Scorpio N’s safety and driver assistance capabilities. If implemented, the ADAS suite may include features like smart pilot assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and high beam assist.
While these upgrades are still unconfirmed officially, the move would position the Scorpio N as one of the few ladder-frame SUVs in the market to offer Level 2 ADAS — a segment where such advanced features are still rare.

Mechanically, no changes are expected. The Scorpio N will continue with its current 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive (4WD) will remain available on higher variants.
If confirmed, the addition of a panoramic sunroof and ADAS could significantly boost the Scorpio N’s value proposition, making it an even stronger contender in the full-size SUV space.
