‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ Author Robert Kiyosaki Warns of Global Monetary Collapse, Urges Buying Silver, Gold, and Bitcoin

Renowned financial educator and author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki, has issued a strong warning about a potential global financial crisis. In a series of tweets, Kiyosaki predicted the imminent bursting of what he calls the “biggest debt bubble in history,” urging his followers to prepare for a major monetary collapse.

Kiyosaki cautioned that traditional savers relying on fiat currency and bonds would be the “biggest losers” in the event of such a collapse. Instead, he encouraged individuals to seek refuge in tangible assets like gold, silver, and Bitcoin. “Will you be richer or poorer when [the] biggest debt bubble in history bursts?” he asked his audience, emphasizing that action now could lead to significant financial gains while others holding on to “obsolete ideas about money” could suffer losses.

“Be a winner. Take action and get richer,” he tweeted, underscoring his long-standing belief in alternative assets over conventional financial instruments.

Shortly after, Kiyosaki followed up with a more specific investment tip, calling silver the best opportunity available in June 2025. He acknowledged that while gold and Bitcoin are currently trading high, he is personally waiting for a market correction before increasing his exposure to those assets.

“FYI: Silver is the best investment today…June 2025. Gold and Bitcoin are high and I am waiting for gold and Bitcoin to crash before I add to my position. That’s what I think. Do your own research. Take care,” he advised.

Kiyosaki has consistently voiced concerns about global debt levels, fiat currency stability, and central banking policies. His latest warnings continue a trend of promoting financial self-education and urging investors to consider precious metals and cryptocurrencies as part of a diversified portfolio.

While opinions on market timing and asset choices may vary, Kiyosaki’s message is clear: in a world of rising debt and uncertain monetary policy, owning real assets could be the key to long-term financial resilience.
