Mahindra has teased an updated Scorpio N with Level 2 ADAS features. The SUV may also get upgrades like a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and a larger touchscreen, while continuing with the same petrol and diesel engines.

Mahindra has teased a new feature update for the popular Scorpio N, strongly hinting at the upcoming introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The teaser, a short video showing illuminated lane markings on an empty highway with the tagline “Power Always Stays On Course”, points clearly toward the SUV gaining driver-assist technology.
This upcoming version of the Scorpio N is expected to sit at the top of the variant line-up and bring in several significant upgrades. Most notably, the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS could introduce features such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, high beam assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, pedestrian detection, blind spot detection, and rear cross-traffic alert.
The SUV may also gain a panoramic sunroof, replacing the current single-pane unit. This would align the Scorpio N more closely with its stablemates like the XUV700 and Thar Roxx, which already offer advanced safety and comfort features in higher trims.

Other expected additions inside the cabin include a larger infotainment touchscreen, 360-degree camera system, and ventilated front seats. Existing features such as the analogue instrument cluster with a 7-inch MID, 8-inch touchscreen system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6-way powered driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, and a 12-speaker Sony sound system are likely to continue.
In terms of safety equipment, the updated Scorpio N will retain essential features like six airbags, ESC, front and rear parking sensors, driver drowsiness detection, hill hold and descent control, all-wheel disc brakes, tyre pressure monitoring system, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. With the addition of the ADAS suite, Mahindra will strengthen the SUV’s safety offering significantly.

Mechanically, no changes are expected. The Scorpio N will continue with the proven 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (mStallion) and 2.2-litre diesel (mHawk) engines. Both engines will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
While Mahindra hasn’t revealed the launch timeline, the teaser suggests that the updated Scorpio N with ADAS could hit showrooms soon.
