TECNO is set to launch the POVA 7 Series in India on July 4 via Flipkart. Expect 5G models, bold Delta-inspired design, powerful hardware, and TECNO’s AI voice assistant Ella.
TECNO has confirmed the launch of its new POVA 7 Series in India on July 4, bringing a fresh wave of performance-focused smartphones to the country. Known for targeting tech enthusiasts and gamers, the POVA lineup is expected to deliver a strong mix of design, power, and smart functionality. After making its global debut, the POVA 7 series will go on sale via Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite has already gone live.
One of the standout features is the Delta-inspired lighting interface, modeled after the Greek symbol Δ to symbolize change and innovation. This interactive lighting element responds to activities like music playback, volume adjustments, and notifications, adding both style and function to the rear design of the phone.
While full specifications for the Indian market are yet to be disclosed, teasers confirm that the series will feature 5G connectivity and a dual rear camera setup, indicating that the POVA 7 5G will be part of the initial launch. It’s still unclear whether other models from the global lineup—such as the POVA 7 Pro 5G, POVA 7 Ultra 5G, POVA 7, and POVA Curve 5G—will also be introduced at the same time.
Among the variants, the POVA 7 Ultra 5G stands out with a massive 6000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate AI chipset, and support for both wired and wireless fast charging. It’s tuned for gaming, capable of delivering smooth gameplay at up to 120 FPS, and features a Hyper Cooling System to manage temperature during extended use.
In addition to hardware performance, TECNO will be enhancing the user experience with Ella, its AI voice assistant designed to support local languages. Ella is expected to make tasks like search, voice control, and daily device interaction more intuitive for Indian users.
