Google Pixel 10 Full Specs Revealed: Tensor G5, 3000‑Nit Display & 4970mAh Battery

Leaked specs for the upcoming Google Pixel 10 hint at a brighter 3000-nit AMOLED display, new 3nm Tensor G5 chip, upgraded 4970mAh battery, and a 5x periscope camera. Here’s everything we know so far ahead of the August 20 launch.

Google Pixel 10 Full Specs Revealed: Tensor G5, 3000‑Nit Display & 4970mAh Battery

Android Headlines has reportedly revealed key specifications of the upcoming Google Pixel 10, ahead of its expected launch on August 20, 2025. The next-generation Pixel looks to refine the formula of its predecessor with a brighter display, a larger battery, improved camera hardware, and the debut of Google’s new Tensor G5 chip.

According to the leak, the Pixel 10 will retain the same 6.3-inch AMOLED LTPS display with FHD+ resolution and a 60–120Hz refresh rate. However, peak brightness is expected to rise to 3000 nits, up from the 2700 nits on the Pixel 9, ensuring better visibility under sunlight and HDR playback. In high-brightness mode, the screen can reportedly reach up to 2000 nits.

Powering the Pixel 10 will be the Tensor G5 SoC, Google’s first 3nm chip reportedly manufactured by TSMC. The chip is said to use a 1+2+3+2 CPU configuration: one high-performance Cortex-X4 core, five Cortex-A725 cores (two high-clocked and three mid-tier), and two Cortex-A520 efficiency cores. Graphics will be handled by a dual-core PowerVR DXT-48-1536 GPU running at 1.1GHz. The chip is also expected to offer improved efficiency and performance over its predecessor.

The phone will come with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, running Android 15 out of the box. Despite the hardware upgrades, the Pixel 10 reportedly lacks vapor chamber cooling—something many of its competitors now offer. Surprisingly, it may also drop Wi-Fi 7 support, despite its presence in the Pixel 9.

Camera hardware sees some changes, with Google reportedly opting for smaller main and ultra-wide sensors to accommodate a new 10.8MP 5x periscope telephoto lens. The main camera will be a 50MP Samsung GN8 sensor with optical image stabilization, while the 13MP ultra-wide lens will use a Sony IMX712 sensor. The front-facing 10.5MP camera will support 4K 60fps video and facial recognition. Notably, features like Ultra Res Zoom and ultra-stable video may remain exclusive to the Pro models.

Battery capacity sees a bump to 4970mAh, up from 4700mAh on the Pixel 9. The phone will support 29W wired charging and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. Other features include IP68 water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, USB Type-C (3.2), NFC, and a new satellite-based SOS feature (limited to the US market).

The Pixel 10 will support dual SIM (nano + eSIM), 5G SA/NSA, Bluetooth 5.4 LE, GPS, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Google is expected to open pre-orders on August 20, with shipping starting from August 28.
