Nothing Headphone (1) with 42dB ANC, LDAC, Up to 80-Hour Playback Launched in India at Rs. 21,990

Nothing has officially expanded its audio lineup in India with the launch of the Nothing Headphone (1), the company’s first over-the-ear headphones. Unveiled alongside the Phone (3), the Headphone (1) stays true to Nothing’s design-first philosophy, featuring a transparent shell, physical controls, and long-lasting battery life. The headphones bring a mix of style, performance, and smart features, aimed at both everyday users and audio enthusiasts.

Nothing Headphone (1): Specifications

The Nothing Headphone (1) comes with 40mm dynamic drivers, finely tuned in collaboration with British audio company KEF, promising rich sound with deep detail. It supports Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) of up to 42dB, along with a transparency mode for ambient awareness. Voice clarity during calls is managed through a four-microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) system.

Battery life is one of its standout features. The headphones house a 1,040mAh battery, delivering up to 80 hours of playback with AAC codec and ANC off, and up to 54 hours using LDAC without ANC. With ANC enabled, battery life drops to 35 hours on AAC and 30 hours on LDAC. A quick 5-minute charge can provide up to 5 hours of listening, while a full charge takes about 2 hours via USB Type-C.

In terms of connectivity, the Headphone (1) supports Bluetooth 5.3, and offers dual-device pairing. Supported audio codecs include SBC, AAC, and LDAC, with compatibility across Android (5.1 and above) and iOS (13 and above) devices. Unlike most premium headphones, Nothing opts for tactile physical controls over touch inputs — including a Roller, Paddle, and Button to control volume, playback, and ANC modes. A 3.5mm audio jack is also included for wired playback.
