Triumph has unveiled the 2026 Scrambler 1200 X with a fresh Matt Khaki Green colour and Dark Black accents. The engine remains unchanged, but the visual upgrades add more character. India launch expected later this year.

Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the 2026 Scrambler 1200 X, bringing a visual update to its versatile scrambler model. The updated motorcycle is set to replace the current version in markets like Europe and the US, and is also expected to launch in India later this year.
For 2026, the Scrambler 1200 X features a new Matt Khaki Green paint scheme. This is complemented by a Dark Black theme applied to the headlight cowl, side panels, and mudguards, giving the motorcycle a sharper and more rugged look.

Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 1200cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine that produces 89bhp at 7,000rpm and 110Nm of torque at 4,250rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a ride-by-wire throttle for better control and responsiveness.

The Scrambler 1200 X is built on a tubular steel frame with an aluminium swingarm. It comes equipped with Marzocchi 45mm upside-down front forks and twin rear shocks with piggyback reservoirs. Suspension travel is 170mm at both ends, which allows for decent off-road capability, even though the X variant is less off-road focused than the XE.

Braking is handled by twin 310mm discs with Nissin two-piston axial calipers at the front and a 255mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear. Cornering ABS is standard. The motorcycle runs on a 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, fitted with tubeless dual-purpose tyres – 90/90-21 at the front and 150/70 R17 at the rear.

Triumph is expected to introduce this updated model in India later this year. While pricing is likely to see a slight increase, it remains to be seen whether the updated look will help improve the bike’s appeal, as the Scrambler 1200 X has struggled to gain traction in the Indian market so far.
