HONOR X70 is set to launch with a massive 8300mAh battery, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip, and wireless charging support in the 512GB model. Here’s everything leaked so far.

HONOR is reportedly preparing to launch the X70 series in China later this month, and early specifications for the upcoming HONOR X70 have now surfaced. The successor to last year’s X60, the new model appears to bring notable upgrades, especially in battery capacity and hardware.
The standout highlight of the HONOR X70 is its massive 8300mAh silicon-carbon battery, which could make it the biggest battery ever seen in a mainstream smartphone. Surprisingly, despite packing such a large battery, the phone is said to maintain a slim 7.7mm profile and weighs just 193 grams — promising a balance of endurance and usability. HONOR will also offer a wireless charging variant, weighing slightly more at 199 grams with a thickness of 7.9mm.
Under the hood, the HONOR X70 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC — a 4nm chip paired with Adreno 810 GPU — marking a shift from the Dimensity 7025 Ultra seen in the previous generation. It will likely ship with MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 and offer RAM options of 8GB and 12GB, along with storage configurations going up to 512GB. Notably, the 512GB model is tipped to support wireless charging, which would be a rare feature in this mid-range segment.

On the display front, the phone could feature a 6.79-inch flat 1.5K panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and minimal bezels — possibly an OLED screen, although that remains to be confirmed. For photography, the X70 is expected to offer a 50MP rear camera with OIS and an 8MP front shooter.

Other hardware details include dual SIM support, USB Type-C audio, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G SA/NSA, and support for 80W fast charging via USB-C. The device will be available in multiple colors including white, blue, black, and red.
Interestingly, instead of the usual “Pro” model, HONOR may introduce the X70 Max as the second variant in the series this year. With an expected launch soon, more information should be revealed in the coming weeks.
