Bentley has revealed the EXP 15 concept, giving the world its first real look at the brand’s electric future. While this isn’t a direct preview of a specific production model, the EXP 15 introduces the design themes and innovative ideas that will shape Bentley’s upcoming EV lineup. A production version based on this concept is expected next year, and it’s set to become Bentley’s first fully electric model.

With a length of over 5.4 meters and an upright, high-riding stance, the EXP 15 blurs the lines between a sedan, SUV, and grand tourer. It carries dramatic proportions and aims to make a bold statement—visually and conceptually. Gone are the iconic Bentley circular headlights; instead, you get vertical LED units, a sealed-off backlit grille with a diamond pattern, and a tall, flat front end reminiscent of classic Bentley heritage models. The long bonnet—another Bentley hallmark—now hides a pair of side-hinged luggage compartments.

Finished in a Pallas Gold satin paint inspired by classic nickel detailing, the EXP 15 is striking from every angle. It features large, aero-optimized dual-tone wheels, cameras in place of mirrors, and a distinctive light signature front and rear. Even the rear styling takes a fresh approach, with C-shaped tail lights and a two-part spoiler with movable aero flaps. In a nod to history, elements like the side window design are borrowed from the 1928 Bentley Speed Six, famously known as the Blue Train.

The interior continues the concept’s unconventional approach. There are only three seats: two up front and a sideways-mounted single rear seat. The front passenger seat is missing entirely—Bentley says it was eliminated to cater to customers who either want to drive themselves or relax in the back. Instead of a fourth seat, there’s a custom pet cradle designed into the floor. Other luxury details include deployable picnic seats in the boot, a champagne cooler, and a roof section that opens up for a more graceful exit.

Even more interesting is the three-door layout—only the passenger side has a rear door, which swings open in a coach-style manner. When opened, the rear seat can swivel outward by 90 degrees, and the roof’s central portion also opens for easier exit.

Inside, Bentley retains its signature winged dashboard design, but modernizes it with a slim instrument display, a secondary screen for the passenger, and a central digital interface that shows key data like the battery’s charge level. Despite being an EV concept, Bentley has chosen to keep physical buttons and dials across the cabin, emphasizing its premium positioning. Design director Robin Page notes that many Bentley customers are growing tired of fully digital interiors, and the brand wants to preserve tactile craftsmanship that sets it apart.

Ultimately, the EXP 15 isn’t just a showpiece—it sets the tone for what future Bentley EVs will look and feel like. Though exact specs remain undisclosed, the concept is expected to inspire the brand’s upcoming electric luxury models. Whether or not the final production car will retain all of these daring design elements remains to be seen, but the EXP 15 clearly marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for Bentley.
