Bajaj Auto has launched the 2025 Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 in India with updated electronics, ride modes, and touring features. Prices start at Rs 1.92 lakh.

Bajaj Auto has launched the updated 2025 Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 motorcycles in India, bringing along a host of feature upgrades and subtle design tweaks aimed at enhancing long-distance touring comfort. The Dominar 400 is priced at ₹2.39 lakh, while the Dominar 250 comes in at ₹1.92 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
The major highlight of this update is the introduction of Ride-by-Wire technology on the Dominar 400, which enables four selectable riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road. These modes alter the throttle response and ABS settings, offering riders more flexibility based on road and weather conditions. On the other hand, the Dominar 250 continues with its mechanical throttle setup but now also gains four ABS modes, giving it improved safety and performance tuning for different terrains.
Bajaj has also updated the instrument cluster across both models. The new bonded glass colour LCD display, sourced from the Pulsar NS400Z, offers better clarity and comes with an integrated visor to reduce glare. Riders will also notice revised switchgear, which not only looks more premium but feels more refined to use. Both bikes get a redesigned handlebar setup intended to improve ergonomics for long rides, along with a factory-fitted carrier that includes a GPS mount — a nod to their touring focus.
Mechanically, the motorcycles remain the same. The Dominar 400 retains its 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 40hp and 35Nm, while the Dominar 250 continues with its 248.8cc engine delivering 27hp and 23.5Nm. Both are paired with a 6-speed gearbox and come equipped with a slipper clutch.

Bajaj has made it clear that these updates aren’t just about features — they’re about reinforcing the brand’s position in the sports touring segment. Sarang Kanade, President of Bajaj’s Motorcycle Business Unit, said, “At Bajaj Auto, we believe that a Dominar is more than just a machine – it’s a gateway to real-world experiences… The 2025 Dominar range is not just an upgrade, it’s a declaration: the road belongs to those who don’t hold back.”
