2025 Hero HF 100 launched in India at Rs 60,118. Now updated to meet BS6 Phase 2 OBD2B emission norms, the HF 100 remains Hero’s most affordable motorcycle.

Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated 2025 HF 100 motorcycle in India. The update brings the bike in line with the OBD2B emission norms. Despite the change, the motorcycle remains mechanically identical to the previous model. Following the update, the Hero HF 100 is priced at Rs 60,118 (ex-showroom), which is Rs 1,000 higher than before.
Engine, Specifications and Performance
The 2025 Hero HF 100 continues to be powered by the same 97.2cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. This engine produces 8.02hp of maximum power and 8.05Nm of peak torque. This is the same powertrain that is offered on the Passion Plus and Splendor Plus models.
Mechanically, there are no other changes. The motorcycle still offers the same suspension setup, consisting of RSU telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by drum brakes at both ends, and the bike rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. The motorcycle is built around a cradle frame chassis, with halogen lighting for the headlamp, tail lamp, and turn indicators, and an analog instrument cluster.
Pricing and Positioning
In Hero MotoCorp’s lineup, the HF 100 continues to be the brand’s most affordable motorcycle, positioned below the HF Deluxe, Splendor+, Splendor+ XTEC, and Passion+ models.
The price of the updated 2025 HF 100 is Rs 60,118 (ex-showroom).
Meanwhile, the previous non-OBD2B version remains listed for sale at Rs 59,018 (ex-showroom) until existing stocks are cleared.
Compared to price hikes seen in other models like the Splendor+ and Passion+, where prices rose by up to Rs 1,750, the Rs 1,100 hike on the HF 100 is relatively nominal and unlikely to impact buying decisions significantly.
New Updates and Changes
The most significant update for the 2025 Hero HF 100 is its compliance with the latest BS6 Phase 2 (OBD2B) emission norms mandated by the Indian government. Other than the necessary emission updates, there are no major design or mechanical revisions.
Hero MotoCorp has retained the same colour schemes for the updated HF 100. Buyers can choose between Red Black and Blue Black colour options.
