2025 Kawasaki Ninja 300 launched in India at ₹3.43 lakh. The new model gets updated projector headlamp, larger windscreen, revised tyres, and three new colour options while retaining the 296cc twin-cylinder engine.

Kawasaki has launched the 2025 version of its popular entry-level sportbike, the Ninja 300, in India. Priced at ₹3.43 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated model will begin arriving at dealerships from the first week of June.
While the new Ninja 300 sticks to the familiar design that has made it a long-standing name in Kawasaki’s lineup since 2013, it does get a few updates for the new model year.
What’s New in the 2025 Ninja 300

For 2025, the Ninja 300 gets some cosmetic and functional enhancements. A new projector headlight setup inspired by the ZX-6R has been added, along with a larger floating windscreen that takes cues from the ZX-10R. The tyres now feature revised tread patterns, aimed at improving grip and ride stability.

The motorcycle is available in three refreshed colour options: Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey. The overall design and livery for these colours have been updated, especially the Lime Green version, which now resembles the Ninja 650 KRT Edition.

Powering the Ninja 300 is the same 296 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which continues to produce 38.8 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a standard assist and slipper clutch, offering smooth and controlled downshifts.

The bike uses a tubular diamond-type frame where the engine acts as a stressed member. Suspension duties are handled by 37 mm telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock with 120 mm and 132 mm of travel respectively. Braking is managed by a 290 mm petal disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS for added safety.
At ₹3.43 lakh, the 2025 Ninja 300 is priced the same as last year’s model. Thanks to high localisation, Kawasaki has been able to keep costs competitive, even bringing the price slightly below the ₹3.50 lakh tag the bike had when it first launched as a CBU unit in 2013.

Despite being one of the more affordable twin-cylinder sportbikes on sale, the Ninja 300 is starting to feel outdated. The model has already been discontinued in global markets for several years, yet Kawasaki continues to sell it in India. While the recent updates add some freshness, the core platform remains unchanged.
The Ninja 300 competes in the entry-level sportbike segment against newer and more advanced rivals like the Aprilia RS 457, KTM RC 390, and Yamaha R3. With the third-gen RC 390 expected to debut at EICMA 2025, the competition is only set to get tougher.
