Maruti Suzuki has launched the updated 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG in India, with prices starting at ₹13.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). After updating the petrol and hybrid variants earlier, Maruti Suzuki has now extended similar feature and safety upgrades to the CNG version of the Grand Vitara.

One of the biggest highlights of the new Grand Vitara S-CNG is the inclusion of six airbags as standard across both the Delta and Zeta variants. This move significantly boosts the safety quotient of the CNG SUV, especially for families and safety-conscious buyers. Additional safety features include Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and disc brakes on all four wheels.

The SUV also gets a few new comfort and convenience features. The Delta variant now comes with tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS) and a PM 2.5 air filter, while the Zeta trim further adds a PM 2.5 display. The Zeta also gets ventilated front seats, rear door sunshades, a wireless charging pad, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a premium audio system sourced from Clarion.

However, unlike the petrol-powered Grand Vitara, the Zeta trim of the S-CNG variant does not include a panoramic sunroof—something to keep in mind for buyers looking for a more premium cabin experience.

Under the hood, the Grand Vitara S-CNG continues with the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that supports both petrol and CNG fuels. In CNG mode, the engine produces 87.8 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Maruti claims an impressive fuel efficiency of 26.6 km/kg for this version, making it an appealing choice for customers prioritising running costs.

The Grand Vitara S-CNG remains a key part of Maruti Suzuki’s multi-powertrain lineup, which includes petrol, strong hybrid, and even an AWD (ALLGRIP SELECT) variant. In terms of dimensions, the SUV measures 4,345 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, and 1,645 mm in height, positioning it competitively in the mid-size SUV segment.

The updated Grand Vitara S-CNG is now available in two variants — the Delta priced at ₹13.48 lakh and the Zeta at ₹15.62 lakh (ex-showroom).
