2025 Skoda Kodiaq deliveries have started in India. Priced from ₹46.89 lakh, the new-gen SUV comes in Sportline and L&K variants, featuring updated design, premium interiors, and a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine with AWD.

Skoda has officially started deliveries of the all-new second-generation Kodiaq SUV in India. The Czech carmaker had launched the new model in April 2025, following its global debut in September last year. Available in two variants — Sportline and Laurin & Klement (L&K) — the updated Kodiaq is priced at ₹46.89 lakh and ₹48.69 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).
The new-gen Kodiaq continues to be assembled at Volkswagen Group’s Aurangabad plant using Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits. Deliveries have now commenced across the country, and the SUV is also available for test drives at Skoda dealerships nationwide.
Exterior Design

The second-generation Kodiaq carries forward Skoda’s Modern Solid design language. It now features a more aggressive stance with a signature butterfly grille, sharper LED headlamps, and sportier trim-specific elements. While the Sportline trim comes with gloss black highlights, the L&K variant adds dark chrome finishes. At the rear, a connected light bar and a chrome-lined faux diffuser enhance the SUV’s road presence.

The updated model has grown in size, now measuring 4,758 mm in length — a 61 mm increase over its predecessor. Despite being slightly narrower, the long wheelbase of 2,971 mm remains unchanged. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and sports a sharper overall silhouette.
Interior and Features
Inside, the new Kodiaq offers two distinct cabin themes. The Sportline gets an all-black interior, while the L&K features premium Cognac leather upholstery. Both variants benefit from an updated dashboard layout with improved ergonomics. Notable changes include repositioned gear selector controls and a practical tablet holder.

The SUV is equipped with a 13-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, and a head-up display. Skoda’s new Smart Dials — rotary knobs with digital displays — help manage climate and media controls more intuitively.
Other key features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-speaker Canton sound system, wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, front ventilated and heated seats, and an electrically operated tailgate. Multi-color ambient lighting adds to the overall premium feel.
Powertrain and Performance
Under the hood, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 201 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. This marks a 14 bhp increase over the previous version. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DSG), while an all-wheel-drive setup is standard on both trims.
Built on the MQB37 platform, the new Kodiaq offers an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 14.86 kmpl.
Safety and Colour Options
Safety features have also seen an upgrade. The Kodiaq now includes nine airbags and comes with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) as standard.
Colour options for the SUV include Moon White, Magic Black, Graphite Grey, Velvet Red, and Race Blue. The L&K variant gets an exclusive Bronx Gold shade, while the Sportline is offered with a unique Steel Grey option.
Rivals in the Segment
The new Skoda Kodiaq competes with other full-size seven-seater SUVs in the market, such as the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Jeep Meridian.
