Suzuki launches the 2025 V-Strom 800DE in India at ₹10.30 lakh with OBD-2B compliance, a 776cc engine, and three new colour options.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the updated 2025 V-Strom 800DE in the country, priced at ₹10.30 lakh (ex-showroom). While the adventure tourer retains the same mechanical setup as the outgoing model, it now comes with OBD-2B compliance and three new colour options, keeping it fresh for the new model year.
Targeted at adventure motorcyclists, the V-Strom 800DE is Suzuki’s sole offering in the large-capacity ADV segment in India. Despite the update, pricing remains unchanged compared to the 2024 model, as no additional hardware or features have been introduced.
The 2025 version is now available in three new paint schemes – Pearl Tech White, Champion Yellow No.2, and Glass Sparkle Black. Among these, Pearl Tech White comes with blue spoked rims, while Champion Yellow No.2 gets black body panels with blue rims. The Glass Sparkle Black variant stands out with grey and red graphics along with black rims. These changes are designed to appeal to riders looking for a refreshed aesthetic while retaining the same proven touring capabilities.

Under the tank, the motorcycle continues to be powered by a 776cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine producing 84 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. The engine uses a 270-degree crankshaft for a distinctive rumble similar to a V-twin. It’s paired with a six-speed gearbox, ride-by-wire throttle, a bi-directional quickshifter, Suzuki’s Easy Start system, and low RPM assist for added convenience during city and off-road rides.

The adventure tourer continues to feature a 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheel setup, block-pattern tyres, and a 20-litre fuel tank. Suspension duties are handled by Showa USD forks at the front and a Showa monoshock at the rear, with a generous 220mm ground clearance and suspension travel, making it well-suited for off-road and long-distance touring.

In terms of features, the V-Strom 800DE comes equipped with a 5-inch colour TFT display, full LED lighting, USB charging port, and the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.). This includes multiple ride modes, traction control with a dedicated Gravel mode, multiple ABS settings, and more – all aimed at enhancing rider safety and adaptability in varied conditions.
