Tata Motors has officially unveiled the 2025 Altroz facelift in India, showcasing refreshed styling and updated features, while keeping the engine options unchanged. First launched in 2020, the Altroz has gained popularity over the years, and the latest update aims to further strengthen its appeal.

Design and Exterior Updates

The refreshed Altroz gets a sharper design with a reworked front end, a redesigned grille, and sleek flush door handles. A new lighting setup called ‘Luminate’ has been introduced at the front with full LED treatment. At the rear, connected LED tail lamps give the hatchback a more modern look.

Interior Upgrades

Inside the cabin, the changes are more noticeable. The dashboard has been redesigned and now features dual 26.03 cm HD displays – one for the infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster. Additional upgrades include new upholstery, ambient lighting, and an air purifier.

Safety and Platform Highlights

Built on Tata’s ALFA platform, the Altroz has always prioritized safety. The updated model continues that legacy with six airbags, ESP, and 90-degree opening doors to improve entry and exit convenience.

Variants and Features

Tata has gradually expanded the Altroz lineup over the years – adding a Dark Edition in 2021, DCT version in 2022, CNG in 2023, and the Racer variant in 2024. The 2025 version will be available in Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S trims, each offering a different set of features.

Powertrain Options Remain Unchanged

The 2025 Altroz continues with the same engine lineup. This includes the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol producing 87 bhp and 115 Nm, and the 1.5-litre turbo diesel making 90 bhp and 200 Nm. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT.

The CNG version uses the 1.2-litre petrol engine, tuned to produce 73 bhp and 103 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual.

New Colour Options

The updated Altroz is offered in five colour choices: Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Royal Blue, Pure Grey, and Pristine White.
