TVS Jupiter 125 DT SXC launched at ₹88,942 with new dual-tone colours, SmartXonnect LCD cluster, diamond-cut alloys, and enhanced comfort features.

TVS Motor Company has introduced a new variant in the Jupiter 125 lineup – the 2025 Jupiter Dual Tone SXC. While recent teasers had hinted at a possible next-generation update, what we have instead is a refreshed variant with cosmetic and feature enhancements. Priced at ₹88,942 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new variant aims to strengthen Jupiter’s position in the competitive 125cc scooter segment.
The standout update in the Dual Tone SXC is the introduction of two new colour schemes – Ivory Brown and Ivory Grey. These dual-tone options are paired with diamond-cut alloy wheels and an LED headlamp, giving the scooter a more premium look. There’s also a redesigned seat layout and a standard pillion backrest for added comfort.

The scooter now features a larger, single-piece colour LCD instrument cluster. This unit supports TVS’ SmartXonnect connectivity suite, offering features such as Bluetooth pairing, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, fuel range information, real-time fuel efficiency, trip meters, and low fuel warnings. A voice command system and vehicle tracking via a smartphone app are also part of the package.
In the Jupiter 125 range, the Dual Tone SXC sits below the top-end SmartXonnect variant, which is priced at ₹92,001 (ex-showroom). Interestingly, despite being cheaper, the SXC gets the updated LCD cluster with full-colour display and dual-tone colour options that the SmartXonnect variant misses out on. The higher price of the SmartXonnect model is due to its TFT-based split display system, which is considered more advanced in screen tech but lacks the refreshed styling of the SXC.
There are no changes to the powertrain. The 2025 Jupiter 125 continues with the 124.8cc single-cylinder engine delivering 8.7 bhp and 11.1 Nm of torque. It also retains TVS’ i-GO Assist feature, which helps improve throttle response in stop-go traffic conditions.

Other features include the external front fuel filler cap, a small apron-mounted glove box, and a 33-litre under-seat storage that can reportedly hold two full-face helmets. The all-metal ‘Metal Maxx’ body now comes with additional body panels for a sturdier feel. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. The scooter has a ground clearance of 163 mm and weighs 108 kg.

The TVS Jupiter 125 Dual Tone SXC goes up against key rivals in the 125cc scooter space, such as the Honda Activa 125, Hero Destini 125, Suzuki Access 125, and Yamaha Fascino. While this new variant strengthens Jupiter’s position among these competitors with updated styling and connectivity features, many had expected a full model update instead.
TVS has yet to confirm any plans for a next-generation Jupiter 125. However, if one is in the works, it could draw styling inspiration from the Jupiter 110, which was updated last year with sleeker DRLs, LED indicators, and a redesigned tail section.
