2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 launched in India with updated features, OBD-2B compliant engine, Smart Key system, and new colour options; priced from ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Yamaha has officially rolled out the updated 2025 Aerox 155 in India, now equipped with a more advanced feature set, updated styling, and a revised engine that meets the latest OBD-2B emission standards. The launch comes under Yamaha’s ‘Call of the Blue’ campaign, and the scooter continues to target urban and performance-oriented riders.
Engine and Performance
The 2025 Aerox 155 retains the same 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine as before. However, it has now been refined to meet OBD-2B compliance as per new emission regulations. The motor continues to deliver 15 hp at 8,000 rpm and 13.9 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) ensures efficient power delivery across the rev range.
The scooter also retains its 6-speed V-belt automatic transmission, with Traction Control System (TCS) and single-channel ABS enhancing safety and stability.
New Features
The latest update introduces Smart Key technology on the Aerox 155 Version S variant, allowing for keyless ignition. The scooter is also equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster that provides real-time information such as speed, fuel level, and trip data. Yamaha’s Y-Connect app integration enables smartphone pairing for navigation, call and SMS alerts, and other functions.
Design and Colour Updates
In terms of design, the 2025 Aerox 155 retains its aggressive, race-inspired styling with a few cosmetic enhancements. It features a Class D Bi-LED headlight, all-LED lighting, and updated body graphics that amplify its sporty appeal.
Yamaha has introduced two new paint options for the Version S – Racing Blue and Ice Fluo Vermillion – both with refreshed decals. The Metallic Black option remains available on the standard variant. The iconic ‘X Centre’ motif continues to appear on the side panels, keeping the design language consistent.

The Aerox 155 continues to be offered in two variants:
- Aerox 155 Standard – Priced at Rs 1,50,130 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
- Aerox 155 Version S – Priced at Rs 1,53,430 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
All variants are available at Yamaha Blue Square dealerships across the country.
Yamaha Recent Launch
Yamaha has also recently introduced the FZ-S Fi Hybrid in India. Priced at Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom), this model features a motor generator, start/stop system, a 4.2-inch TFT display, and enhanced connectivity via the Y-Connect app. It also gets turn-by-turn navigation, revised switchgear, ergonomic updates, and new styling elements.
