Kawasaki India has rolled out the 2026 model year Ninja 1100SX, continuing its update of the entire lineup for the new model year. Priced at ₹14.42 lakh (ex-showroom), the sport-touring motorcycle remains unchanged in terms of hardware and performance, with the biggest update being a new paint scheme.

For 2026, the Ninja 1100SX gets a new black and gold colour option, replacing the familiar black and green livery that the model has carried for years. Apart from this cosmetic refresh, the motorcycle is identical to the outgoing version. Deliveries of the 2026 Ninja 1100SX are scheduled to begin from December 29.

Under the fairing, the Ninja 1100SX continues to be powered by the same 1,099cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 136hp and 113Nm of torque, with a tuning focus on strong mid-range performance rather than aggressive top-end power. This setup suits the bike’s sport-touring character well. Importantly, the engine is now fully E20-compliant, aligning with the latest government regulations.

The motorcycle is built around an aluminium frame and features fully adjustable Showa suspension at both ends. Braking is handled by Kawasaki-branded Tokico calipers, supported by dual-channel ABS. These components remain unchanged from the previous model year.

In terms of electronics, the Ninja 1100SX continues with the same comprehensive rider aid package. It offers four riding modes — Rain, Road, Sport and Rider — which alter traction control intervention, throttle response and power delivery. The Rider mode allows full customisation and also changes the layout of the 4.3-inch TFT display. A bi-directional quickshifter and a six-axis IMU further enhance the riding experience, especially during spirited or long-distance rides.

With no mechanical or feature updates, the new colour scheme is the only way to visually distinguish the 2026 Ninja 1100SX from the 2025 model. Kawasaki has also retained the revised pricing following the introduction of the GST 2.0 tax structure, keeping the motorcycle positioned at ₹14.42 lakh.

Key specifications include a kerb weight of 238 kg, a 19-litre fuel tank, a seat height of 820 mm and an ARAI-rated mileage of 17.8 kmpl. The Ninja 1100SX continues to be offered with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Overall, the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX remains a familiar package, catering to riders looking for a powerful, comfortable and feature-rich sport-touring motorcycle, with the added benefit of E20 compliance and a refreshed visual identity.
